I generally like the Forbidden Lipsticks but don't think they are great. They are matte, but very small/narrow, so they are hard to hold and color your lips in, and they are also a bit dry/hard. It makes it hard to spread them on the lips. I am not overvowed.

This is a gorgeous wine-red, great as a stain or full-on opaque lipstick. Pairs beautifully with the Weeping Cherry pigment balm. One thing I'll note is that you want to make sure your lips are exfoliated first because this will catch on any dry patches. Also shoutout to RdF for your customer service - my first tube arrived broken due to some mail carrier damage, and I was able to quickly get a new one that arrived safely intact!

I was looking for a merlot shade for a dramatic pout and this one hits the mark! The rich wine tone works fabulously for when you want minimal make up but still have an impact! Also, on most days you can just sheer it out and its very wearable.
