Originally created together in 2024, Viridescent has returned for a brief moment to celebrate the limited-edition launch of Amaranthine. 

Green is a color of dualities; it evokes the familiar and the uncanny, the terrestrial and the celestial, the enduring and the ephemeral. A shared fascination with green’s lush mysteries lead us to a beautiful collaboration with one of our favorite creators: Andromeda. Together, we have lured new green hues out of our laboratory to create an inspiring new limited-edition collection. 

These shades are extraordinary glints of light in the darkness; the shadowy shift of translucent dragonfly wings, the glimmer of dewdrops on soft moss, the glowing wisps of ethereal light in the sky above.

    Very different texture from other eye soots

    I really love the other eye soots I have ( Sigil and Halflight)… but this one is so crumbly, the powder got clumped into round balls and even using the special brush for eye soots didn’t work out for this shade.

    I’m so disappointed, I loved the colour but the actual texture is totally different from the other eye soots. Even trying to apply it with fingers, different brushes, nothing made it look like in the pictures. Shame.

    My DREAM Blush!!

    Such a pretty color!! Pretty sheer but perfect for neutral-cool undertones. Looks like a true mauve on me, but for other skintones may look more purple. Easy formula that dries down nicely with a slight shimmer.

    Wanted to love it…

    I really wanted to love it. The color is much lighter and ashy in person, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It has a lavender scent and the pink glitter lasts for a while. Unfortunately, the formula feels gritty and quite drying and prone to clumping, and it seems like the bullet is off-center in the tube. It takes a decent amount of pressure to get a sheer color payoff. I’ve been really excited for this product, but having to pay shipping for a return feels like more of a loss.

    Gorgeous in person

    I hesitated to buy Ironweed because it looked too blue in photos, more violet/indigo than purple/ plum. I needn't have worried - it's that coveted crayon purple 💜 I love. (Hey, it matches my slippers!) The frost is subtle, similar to Fashion Fair lipstick in Grapesicle but less red. I love DM Flushed Balm in Grape Soda as blush and Ironweed looks like a nighttime version, deeper more dramatic.

    Most wearable true purple

    This is the most wearable true purple lipstick in my collection. It’s not loud, but it’s still really purple and cool toned, which I love. It’s super corpse glam as it’s not just a boring black or grey. Love it and wish it was permanent!

    Very Subtle On a Pale Olive

    When I'm wearing makeup, I'm usually wearing a Rituel de Fille highlighter. Whether I'm wearing a bold look or something more natural, these cream highlighters add that extra something that I love.

    I ordered Borealis when it was first released and love that it feels very at home on my pale olive skin. I'm a green person and so many "neutral" highlights read quite peach or pink on me. This is lovely and truly subtle. Would recommend for green people across the board.
