Water Violet is the dream MLBB for me. It's a gorgeous, truly cool shade, but with so much nuance, it doesn't scream "PINK!" or at all grey. It's buildable, has amazing longevity for its balmy format, wears off naturally over hours, and truly moisturizes my lips longterm. There's an extremely mild "herbal spa" scent to it that dissipates quickly upon application. No flavor. The packaging's cool/pretty & portable. But this shade, people...in a world with waaay too many warm (read: orange- or brown-based) shades on offer, WV's like manna from heaven for those of us who are truly cool-toned. I cannot recommend this enough and plan to stock up.

I generally like the Forbidden Lipsticks but don't think they are great. They are matte, but very small/narrow, so they are hard to hold and color your lips in, and they are also a bit dry/hard. It makes it hard to spread them on the lips. I am not overvowed. The Water Violet shade is very nice though on my light olive neutral / cool saturated skintone - looks like my lips but better.

This is the perfect "my lips but better" color. A bit pinker than my own lips, and it applies really smoothly. I can see this being my day-to-day go to. I really enjoy the formula of the lip sheets. They aren't drying or sticky like many are.

So many makeup products these days are warm nudes and lots of gloss/shine. Makes a cool-neutral-toned person crazy, trying to find the right product. Water Violet is MLBB and matte! The sheer formula is buildable, which creates different looks. So happy to have found this product and Rituel de Fille!

It’s so hard finding a mauve lipstick that doesn’t turn orange. This color is gorgeous and looks amazing with a darker mauve or plum liner. The only downside is I do find the formula a bit hard to spread on the lips and ever so slightly drying. It doesnt feel super smooth on my lips but it also doesn’t clings to dry patches, so that’s good.
